We are the Red Rocks Community College Cyber Club! We all share a common vision, we have a passion for security technologies and enjoy ethical hacking in our free time 😎
We have club members proficient in Python, C++ SQL, HTML, CSS and 32-bit ASM. We have built applications that connect to external databases, generate GUIs and even generate HTML in a webpage to be displayed to the user. We have also written custom security auditing scripts, including an SSH brute force tool and a SHA-256 hash cracker.
We have club members who have taken an assortment of Ethical Hacking courses. We have also participated in dozens of Capture The Flag challenges as a team and have experience in wireless network security auditing, malware development and enterprise phishing. This is the clubs favorite subject of study as this is one of the most interesting topics in cybersecurity.
We all enjoy learning how computer networks function and work in unison to create the beautiful internet that we all know, love and enjoy. We have built single area OSPF as well as multi-area OSPF networks and many members are currently studying to take the Comp-TIA Network+ and Security+ certification exams.
